"I love the everything about the Ranavat Brightening Saffron Serum. It goes on smooth and immediately has a brightening effect on my skin. It is lightweight , absorbable and effortless. The scent is subtle and fantastic. After a few weeks of consistent use, both night and day, I feel a softening of the texture of it skin. "The first thing I noticed was how a small amount can cover my whole face. I prefer to warm a few drops between my hands and gently press it into my skin instead of rubbing it in. While we do not make specific safety claims, our products are generally formulated to be safe for use during pregnancy and while nursing. The only product we do not recommend during this time is our Retinol Eye Cream due to its retinol content. Hi, I earlier asked a question, if this product helps with hypo pigmentation. The response I received is for hyper pigmentation. Please advise if this product is helpful to reduce hypo pigmentation: Hi Pooja, My apologies. While we have not tested the product for hypopigmentation, I would think that given its brightening properties and its effectiveness in creating a more even skin tone, it may help to make the hypopigmentation slightly less visible in contrast. The shelf life of the serum is 24 months. Since you are only using a little at a time the bottle will last you about 4 months with daily use and maybe even more. Please do not refrigerate the serum or expose it to extreme heat. Please store it closed and at room temperature.
Hey so I just bought the his serum and I’m confused as to when to use it. I know it states am and pm and I’d love to reap its full benefits so I plan on both. In the am I use a hyaluronic serum, vitamin c serum then moisturizer and spf. Would I put this on first? Or before moisturizer? Also I use tretinoin (rentinoid) at night. Is this safe to use with retinoid ? And would this come before or after retinoid ?: Hi Tierra! The brightening saffron serum would come after your cleanser and toner steps. For both your AM and PM routines, you want to apply your serums from thinnest to thickest. So I would recommend the saffron serum to follow your hyaluronic serum. In terms of your vitamin C, the saffron serum works like a vitamin C in terms of brightening, but it is different because it is shelf-stable (as it doesn't contain ascorbic acid). Your moisturizer would follow after the saffron serum; giving the serum a few minutes to sink into the skin, then apply the moisturizer. You can use the serum with retinol; I would spot test first, but recommend applying the serum after the retinol. I hope that helps and please do reach out with any additional questions!

Personally, my skin is not as dry in the spring/summer months, so I use the jasmine mist and the saffron serum during the day, and add in the bakuchi creme as part of my evening routine.
