Is it suitable for all skin types?

Our formula is dermatologist-tested and suitable for all skin types—including sensitive, acne-prone, and melanin-rich skin. The lightweight texture and non-comedogenic ingredients make it ideal for daily wear.

Can I Use If I Have Oily Skin?

Brightening Saffron Serum is ideal for all skin types – including oily skin. Oil loves oil. To help combat excess oil production, it’s important to give your skin nourishing ingredients that help balance moisture levels. Often, oily skin is stripped of natural oils and skin goes into overproduction mode and causes more sebum buildup. Using an oil can help replenish your skin's natural oils and will keep oil levels balanced and breakouts at bay.

Is this good for all skin types?

Yes! Our Saffron Serum is suitable for all skin types. Its formulation is gentle yet effective. Its ingredients cater to a diverse range of skin needs, promoting skin barrier repair, hydration, brightness, elasticity, and a radiant complexion.

What is the texture?

The Saffron Serum is oil-based and incorporates sesame oil to emulate the natural oil of the skin. Its texture is luxurious, providing a nourishing and moisturizing feel without being heavy or greasy.

How often should I apply?

We recommend applying the Serum both in the morning and evening after cleansing your skin. The Saffron Serum is best applied on clean, damp skin. Applying it to damp, cleansed skin will enhance absorption and contribute to a more hydrated complexion.

How does this fit into my skincare routine?

The Saffron Serum is best applied following your cleanser. Incorporate it into your skincare routine by applying a small amount after cleansing. This allows the Serum to be absorbed effectively. Follow with your moisturizer to seal in the benefits!

Is this a vitamin C serum?

Brightening Saffron Serum contains pure saffron, a potent ingredient that supersedes traditional vitamin C noted for its natural and superior stability properties. Saffron is high in antioxidants, ideal for preventative skincare targeting dark spots, aging, and protecting skin against free radicals.  

What makes it so expensive?

Unlike other serums that use processed extracts, our saffron serum contains real saffron (more expensive by weight than gold). We loaded our serum with saffron because of the impact it has on skin health. Try it and experience the magic of saffron.

Is it ok to use the Brightening Saffron Serum with retinol?

The Brightening Saffron Serum can be used daily and acts as a hydrator pre-retinol application and lessens adverse reactions to the retinol in your routine. The Brightening Saffron Serum should be applied before retinol so it does not interfere with the existing pH levels of the retinol for optimal efficacy. 

How long does 1 bottle last?

Using this bottle every day (AM + PM) you can expect to replenish every 4-5 months. Remeber to subscribe to never be without your saffron serum!

Is there a fragrance?

The Saffron Serum has warm and luxurious Saffron notes blended with subtle hints of herbal undertones to deliver a rich sensorial experience with every application. We do not use synthetic fragrances. The beautiful scents of our products derive solely from their natural ingredients.

When does it expire?

The Brightening Saffron Serum has a shelf life and PAO of 12 months.

Step 1: RESURFACE

Brightening Saffron AHA Masque

Reveal instantly brighter skin with the exfoliating power of fruit derived AHAs and enzymes.​

APPLICATION

Apply an even layer over skin once a week and leave on for 2-5 minutes before rinsing. The cooling and soothing masque will melt away dull, dry skin and build up to reveal a luminous glow.

Step 2: HYDRATE

Brightening Saffron Essence

To deliver an instant boost of hydration to the skin & enhance the absorption of active ingredients and your skincare system.

APPLICATION

After cleansing, apply a few drops into your palm and gently pat on face and neck. Use daily, AM & PM.

Step 3: TREAT

Brightening Saffron Serum

This high-performance serum is clinically tested to target the appearance of dark spots, even skin tone, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

APPLICATION

Massage 2-3 drops onto cleansed face, neck, and décolleté while skin is still damp. Use the Brightening Saffron Serum as part of your morning and evening skincare ritual for radiant skin that glows!

Step 4: BRIGHTEN

Brightening Retinol Eye Creme

Use in your PM ritual on cleansed skin. Those who are new to or sensitive to retinol can apply the eye creme after our Brightening Saffron Serum and before our moisturizing Renewing Bakuchi Creme.

APPLICATION

Start 2x a week at first and gradually increase to nightly application. Follow with the Renewing Bakuchi Creme.

Step 6: PROTECT

Brightening Mineral Sunscreen

PROTECT using Brightening Mineral Sunscreen, SPF 50+ to defend against UVA/UVB rays, brighten, and increase radiance.

APPLICATION:

Apply two fingers-length of SPF onto face and neck as the last step in your routine. Reapply every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating. For best results, use with Brightening Saffron Serum.
