Learn what the rose can do for you

It is estimated that flowers have been evolving for 1.2 billion years. All the while they could not move out of harm's way, or escape environmental aggressions, such as UV rays, oxidative stress, climate variations, draught and frost. As a result, they developed an extremely rich biodiversity of molecules made to defend their structures.

Rose petals contain a valuable, emollient oil, that can hydrate, soothe and tone the skin. Rose oil also strengthens the skin’s barrier, helping to prevent moisture loss.

Roses are also known to stimulate microcirculation, which oxygenates the skin, creating a glow. This increase in circulation promotes detoxification and healing within the cells. The anti-inflammatory properties of the rose can help reduce redness and calm the skin for a more even-toned complexion. It can also help balance dry and sensitive skin.

Rose hips contain a galactolipid that has amazing anti-inflammatory power. Potent antioxidants tocopherol and carotenoids give the rose its anti-aging properties and add glow to dull skin.
